01How it works

Four steps,no runaround.

From the first message to the finished garments. Nothing gets printed until you have seen the layout and said you are happy with it.

The four steps

  1. Step 01. Tell us what you need

Choose the clothing, quantities, colours and print locations. If you are not sure yet, a rough idea is enough to get started.

  2. Step 02. Send your design

Upload your logo or artwork, or explain what you want created. We will let you know if anything needs adjusting before it goes to print.

  3. Step 03. Approve the layout

Review the placement, sizing and details before production begins. Nothing gets printed until you are happy with it.

  4. Step 04. We print your order

Your clothing is produced and prepared for collection or delivery, whichever suits you better.

We do not publish a fixed turnaround time, because it depends on the size of the order, the garments and what is already in the queue. Tell us the date you need the clothing by and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you commit to anything.

02Artwork

Getting yourdesign ready.

  • Vector files are what we want

SVG, PDF, AI, EPS or a high resolution PNG. Your design gets cut out of vinyl rather than printed onto it, so the cutter needs clean outlines to follow. A vector file gives it exactly that at any size.

  • A good PNG can usually be traced

If a vector is all you have is a logo on a website, send the biggest, sharpest version you can find. We can often trace it into cuttable outlines. Very fine detail is the part that tends to get lost.

  • Think in solid colours

Each colour in your design is a separate piece of vinyl, cut and layered. Two or three colours look sharp on a garment. A photograph or a colour fade cannot be cut at all, so we would simplify it or wait until our printers are running.

  • Names and numbers

Send them as a simple list matched to sizes. A spreadsheet or a plain typed list is perfect. We will lay them out and send it back for checking before anything is pressed.

Cuts well

  • Vector files: SVG, PDF, AI or EPS
  • Solid shapes and flat colour
  • Text, names, numbers and lettering
  • Logos with a countable number of colours

Not yet

  • Photographs
  • Gradients and colour fades
  • Fine detail smaller than a few millimetres
  • Artwork with dozens of colours in it

These need printed transfers, which we are setting up now.

Preparing artwork you already have is part of the job. Designing a brand new logo from scratch is separate work, so ask about it in your quote and we will let you know what is involved.

  • 01

    Cut vinyl

    Two plotters, 800mm and 600mm

Your design is cut from coloured vinyl, weeded by hand and heat pressed into the fabric. It gives clean, sharp edges and a finish built to survive the wash and the season.

Best forLogos, lettering, club crests and anything that needs to still look right after fifty washes.

  • 02

    Names and numbering

    No setup charge per name

Every garment in an order can carry a different name and number. You send the list, we match it to the sizes and lay it out for you to check.

Best forTeam strips, staff uniforms and personalised event shirts.

  • 03

    Layered colour

    Solid colours, sharp edges

Separate colours are cut individually and pressed in layers to build up a multi colour design. Best suited to artwork that resolves into solid shapes rather than photographs.

Best forTwo, three and four colour logos, sponsor marks and crests.

  • 04

    Caps and hats

    Dedicated hat press

A separate press with a curved platen, made for headwear. It shapes to the front panel so the design sits flat and square instead of bubbling on the curve.

Best forClub caps, work caps and supporter headwear.

  • 05

    Big back prints

    Up to 800mm wide

The larger plotter cuts up to 800mm wide, which covers a full adult back panel in one piece. No joins across a sponsor name or a big number.

Best forSponsor panels, large numbers and full width back designs.

  • 06

    Small and bulk runs

    No minimum order

One personalised piece and a full team or company order go through the same process. There is no minimum quantity and no setup fee to get started.

Best forAnything from a single gift to a complete uniform rollout.
